Everything You Need to Know About Marensa Banq

Questions about deployment, white-labelling, compliance, mobile apps, and pricing — answered clearly and completely.

Platform
Marensa Banq is suitable for any regulated business managing client funds. This includes banks, electronic money institutions (EMIs), payment institutions (PIs), asset managers, trust companies, finance companies, payroll companies, savings and loan companies, credit unions, crypto and digital asset firms (VASPs), neobanks, and other non-bank financial institutions. If your business holds or manages client funds under a regulatory framework, Marensa Banq can be configured for your structure.
The core Marensa Banq platform includes a white-label web banking portal hosted on your domain, a full back-office admin control panel, 33 standard fiat currencies with a live ECB exchange rate feed, SWIFT and SEPA outgoing and incoming wire transfers, multi-currency account management, transaction history and statement generation, email notifications and system alerts, and regular software updates every 3–5 weeks.
Optional modules that can be added to any plan include: SMS OTP and two-factor authentication, KYC integration (via Sumsub for automated identity verification), AML sanctions screening (real-time), SWIFT BIC validation (unlimited lookups), corporate accounts with multi-user role-based access, batch payment CSV import, multi-language interface, AI-powered chat support via Intercom, the Crypto and Fiat Banking Widget (buy/sell/swap crypto), live crypto rate feeds via Kraken, external links and third-party integrations, and a sandbox testing environment. Custom module development is also available on the Enterprise plan.
Yes. Marensa Banq is built with a modular architecture, meaning modules can be added or removed at any time without disruption to your live platform. You can launch with the Starter configuration and progressively add mobile apps, KYC, AML, crypto, or any other module as your business and client base grows. There is no rebuild or migration required.
Deployment
Standard hosted deployments go live in less than 1 week depending on platform chosen. This includes the web banking portal, admin panel, domain configuration, and SSL setup. Self-hosted deployments depend on your server environment and may require additional setup time. Mobile apps (iOS and Android) take up to 10 days, accounting for app store review and approval processes.
We use Frankfurt, Germany as the default server location for hosted (SaaS) deployments, using AWS infrastructure. Other AWS server locations worldwide are available on request — including regions in the UAE, Singapore, the UK, and the US — subject to configuration and any applicable data residency requirements. For Enterprise clients, self-hosted deployment on your own server infrastructure is also available.
With a hosted SaaS deployment, Marensa Advisory manages the server infrastructure, software updates, monitoring, and technical maintenance on your behalf. Your platform lives on our managed infrastructure, accessed via your custom domain. With self-hosted deployment (Enterprise), the platform is installed on servers you own or lease — giving you full control over the environment, data location, and infrastructure configuration. Self-hosted is recommended for clients with strict data residency requirements or existing cloud environments.
No. There is no minimum contract period on any Marensa Banq plan. Monthly services can be cancelled or changed at any time. This applies to the hosted server subscription, the SaaS lease model, and any active modules. One-time setup and deployment fees are non-refundable once the configuration process has commenced.
White-Label
Yes. Marensa Banq is a 100% white-label platform. You configure your own colour scheme, upload your own logo files, and set your own domain. The web portal, admin interface, email notifications, and mobile apps all carry only your branding. Your clients never see any reference to the underlying platform or to Marensa Advisory. Mobile apps are published to the App Store and Google Play under your own developer account, with your app icon and your name.
You can customise the platform's colour scheme, logo, domain name, email sender name and templates, app icon, app name (App Store and Google Play listing), and the overall visual identity of the interface. The admin control panel allows you to manage these settings without any developer involvement. Additional custom CSS or design modifications are available on the Enterprise plan.
No. There is no visible reference to Marensa Advisory or the underlying platform technology anywhere in the client-facing interface. Your clients see your brand exclusively — your domain, your logo, your app name, and your colour scheme. This applies to the web portal, the iOS and Android apps, email notifications, and all client-facing communications generated by the platform.
Compliance & Licensing
Marensa Banq is the technology layer — it provides the digital banking infrastructure. You remain responsible for holding the appropriate regulatory licence or authorisation in your jurisdiction and ensuring your use of the platform complies with your regulatory obligations. The platform does not grant any licensed status. Marensa Advisory can assist with financial licensing separately — across UAE, Mauritius, UK, EU, and other jurisdictions — as part of our broader advisory services.
Yes. The Professional and Enterprise plans include a KYC integration module via Sumsub, which automates identity verification (passport, ID, selfie check) and produces a compliance-ready verification record. Real-time AML sanctions screening is also available, checking client and counterparty names against international sanctions lists. Both modules are configurable through the admin panel and produce audit-ready records for regulatory review.
Client data is encrypted in transit and at rest. The platform runs on AWS infrastructure with standard enterprise-grade security controls, including two-factor authentication for all admin access, session management, and IP controls. Specific data residency configurations are available for clients subject to local data protection requirements (e.g., UAE PDPL, EU GDPR). Security patches are applied with each platform update (every 3–5 weeks).
Mobile Apps
The Marensa Banq mobile app — available for both iOS and Android — includes full feature parity with the web banking portal: account balances and statements, outgoing and incoming wire transfers (SWIFT and SEPA), transaction history, multi-currency views, push notifications, and biometric authentication (Face ID and Touch ID). The app is published under your own developer account on the App Store and Google Play.
Mobile app deployment takes up to 10 days from configuration sign-off. This includes app configuration and branding, submission to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and the standard review and approval process for each platform. Timelines can vary slightly depending on Apple and Google's review queues, which are outside our control. Updates to the app are released alongside platform updates (every 3–5 weeks).
Mobile apps (iOS and Android) are included from the Professional plan onwards. They are not included in the Starter plan but can be added as a module at any time. The Enterprise plan includes mobile apps as standard along with all other modules.
Pricing
Each plan has a one-time setup and deployment fee, plus a monthly subscription covering server hosting, technical support, and regular software updates. The SaaS lease option replaces the one-time platform purchase with a higher monthly fee. We do not charge ongoing fees based on the number of users or transaction volume. All pricing is provided on request — contact us for a tailored quote based on your specific requirements.
No. We do not charge ongoing fees based on your number of users or your transaction volume. Your monthly subscription is a fixed amount regardless of how many clients you onboard or how many transactions they process. This makes Marensa Banq predictable in cost and highly scalable in economics.
We do not publish fixed prices publicly because the right configuration — and therefore the right price — depends on your specific requirements: deployment type, modules required, number of currencies, support level, and server region. We prepare a detailed, itemised proposal within 48 hours of a brief conversation about your business. You can review our three plan tiers (Starter, Professional, Enterprise) on our Plans & Pricing page to understand what is included at each level.
